Katie Martinson
Katie Martinson has been an active member of her parish communities for 30 years. She has taught catechism classes to all ages from preschool through adults. She is a sought-after speaker on topics such as marriage, parenting, and practical applications of faith in daily life. She and her husband Lloyd have volunteered for many ministries, including pro-life and pre-Cana.
Katie’s strong commitment to the broader community is evidenced by her roles as class mom and team mom for various of her children’s schools and sports, Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout den mother, and pro-life newsletter editor. She organizes and runs formational presentations and workshops for women as well as a character education club and camp for girls.
Katie is a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, where her youngest children attend school. Drawn by the quality of the parish and the school, her family recently moved to Boonton Township.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from Princeton University. She is the mother of 9, the mother-in-law of 3, and the grandmother of 2. Her children have attended the University of Notre Dame, Princeton University, the University of Tulsa, and the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology. She has one child attending LGA
