Our liberal arts approach will fully prepare you to find your place in this timeless dialogue. You'll encounter the giants who have come before us in every subject area and, together with your teachers, you’ll explore, discuss, wrestle with, and debate the most important discoveries and mysteries in the history of the world.
Transform Your World
Virtue (from the Latin virtus, which grows from the root vir, or man) is the necessary condition for being fully alive. Virtues are God-given, natural aptitudes developed to the heights of excellence. At LGA, you will learn to develop moral virtues (e.g. justice, courage); intellectual virtues (e.g. honesty); physical virtues (e.g. endurance); and spiritual virtues (e.g. hope). And with those virtues, you will be invited to love and serve the specific needs of one another and the greater community.
Unleash Your Imagination
We will fully prepare you to excel on SATs and AP exams, but that's not nearly a high enough bar to clear when it comes to academic excellence: You deserve something better and more lasting. By the time you graduate, you will know how to untie the most tangled knots, see clearly through the murkiest debates, and solve the greatest problems in any subject area. You will learn to be analytical, creative, and persuasive as you confidently undertake the toughest challenges and explore the most complex issues.
