Athletics

“Sports contribute to the love of life, teach sacrifice, respect and responsibility, leading to the full development of every human person.” -Saint Pope John Paul II

We understand that discipline of the body and discipline of the mind and heart cannot be separated. Our athletic programs give students opportunities to grow in teamwork, perseverance, and healthy competition. While our student athletes compete at state and regional invitationals, we are currently applying for conference admittance.

LGA’s extracurriculars are largely driven by student interest – that is, if a student wants it, we do everything we can to make it happen. Students are encouraged to try new things, even as they work hard to excel at the activities for which they’ve already developed a passion. So if you don’t see what you’re looking for on the list, you should think of it as an opportunity to start something new and lead others with your vision!
