November 19th: OLMC and LGA Gala, 6:00 p.m., Birchwood Manor

November 23rd: Half Day

November 24th-25th, Thanksgiving Break, No School

Of Particular Note

Lumen Gentium Academy Students and their parents are invited for a morning Meet and Conversation with Dr. Jonathan Sanford, president of University of Dallas, on Saturday, November 19th. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet one of the foremost thinkers in classical education today. Please RSVP to school@lumengentium.academy if you would like to attend.

Dear Parents, We invite you to visit campus on November 17th for Coffee with the Headmaster at 8:00 a.m.. Mr. Signorelli is eager to speak to parents about the exciting and fruitful experiences your students are having at LGA this Fall. Please stop by for fellowship and to join in conversation with Mr. Signorelli and fellow parents.

This event will be followed by an HSA Meeting at 8:45 am. The LGA HSA is a wonderful way for parents to support the Academy and the special events held each year.

We are excited to announce that registration for the Chanticleer Ski Club is now open. Registration is open to students from LGA, and OLMC students in grades six through eight. Parents are welcome to register along with their children as well. We will be taking five trips during the winter; the dates are listed below. Registration allows you to participate in all five trips.

January 20
February 3
February 16
February 24 (If we don´t end up going in December)

There are rain dates if weather does not permit us to go, and individuals may make up their trips if they miss the group ski dates.

If you would like to register, please send an email to Dan Clavijo at skiclub@olmcboonton.org. Dan will provide you with detailed instructions on how to complete your registration. If you have further questions, you can reach out to Dan as well.

Tickets to the Gala are no longer available for purchase online. However, if you would like to attend please email Ivan Arocho at iarocha@lg.academy for details.

GALA BASKETS

LGA has exciting items planned for the Gala Baskets and we are almost at our goal! Any amount contributed will be greatly appreciated. Please consider donating to the fund if you have not already done so.

The HSA will gladly accept any size donation in cash, check or Venmo (@Maria-Morton-6).

Maria Morton, Alexander's mom, has kindly offered the use of her Venmo account. She will then write a check to LGA to cover all contributions she receives for this fundraiser.

It’s run entirely online, so you can keep bidding - and outbidding! - from either the event itself or the comfort of your own home. The auction is open now through the close of the gala and everyone is invited to join in, so don’t wait - place your bids today, and invite your friends and family to do the same!
