The LGA Board Meeting is on Monday, May 2nd at 7:30 p.m. at the school building. The first half-hour will be dedicated to an open forum to which parents and students can bring any questions, concerns, or ideas.

The Spring Formal will be on May 11th from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at the Mountain Lakes Club. RSVPS should be returned as soon as possible.

With regard to attire, gentlemen should wear a jacket and tie. Please no jeans or sneakers.

For ladies, gowns and dresses should be knee length with a modest neckline. No strapless dresses, please.

Senior Yearbook Pictures are schedule for the morning of May 11th, weather permitting. Seniors and Parents, an email with details will follow next week.

Ab Urbe Condita

From the Founding of the City

LGA celebrated the Founding of Rome in classical fashion. The day began with a discussion of the importance of Rome and Roman civilization to both our classical Western heritage and the history of the Church. Students then participated in a rousing game of trivial and quadrivial pursuits, with the dark-horse Plebeians handing the Patricians a stunning upset. Senators and Gladiators also made a respectable showing in the contest. After lunch (which included Mrs. Flaherty's Caesar Salad, in commemoration of the day), Mr. Gonzalez marched his team to victory on the gridiron. (Mr. G. was later spotted at Walgreens stocking up on ibuprofen).

LGA would like to thank everyone who contributed time and resources to make this such a great day.

Chanticleers for Life Bake Sale

A Great Success!

The Chanticleers for Life Bake Sale and Diaper Drive was a tremendous success. They students collected about 4,000 diapers and over $1,000!

The club is truly grateful for the generosity of everyone who helped out. The diapers will go to Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center and the money will go to the Sisters For Life.

Please note: The reenrollment deadline for tuition credit will be extended for those families who request it. Please contact the school with any questions.

An email regarding reenrollment was sent February 18th with specific instructions. The $250 reenrollment fee will be credited toward your tuition if you complete this process before the extended deadline. Please confirm your registration for the 2022-2023 school year as soon as possible.
